Sue started out her working life in banking, followed by stints in law and then Pest Control. Paul (originally a farmer) has ventured into the world of grain trading but still has a pedigree herd of Long Horn Cattle keeping in with the farming tradition.

Abi is at Newcastle University studying Agricultural Business Management, she will be spending the summer working for a local Grain merchant.

We have a real passion for the countryside, rural life and our animals. Guests will meet Rhubarb and Revel the horses alongside Bella the pig (who has a racing car named after her).

Our cattle spend their days in the back field, if stopping in The Granary you’ll have a perfect view of them.

Hattie, Nell and Sienna, our family dogs provide us with much entertainment. We also have an array of chicken, a couple of ducks and the geese
